Meet your Instructor, Chey!
Chey (short for Cheyenne, like “Shea Butter”) is a San Antonio-based yoga instructor and the founder of Cheymliss Yoga, known for her unconventional, themed classes like Emo Yoga, Heavy Metal Yoga, and Harry Potter Yoga. Her journey began after a back injury led her to yoga, which transformed her body, mind, and outlook on life. Chey’s mission is to break stereotypes and create a space where everyone—regardless of background or experience—can feel safe, empowered, and a little weird.

Chey is absolutely incredible!! She is true to herself, passionate about her craft, and meets you where you are at. She is a shining star among many of the yoga teachers i have experienced throughout my life. Not to mention her music is top notch and always leaves me asking for her playlists. Cannot recommend her enough!!

I love these classes. I don't feel pressured to go as hard core when I'm not feeling it, but I also have the opportunity to challange myself. I have gained mobility and flexability that I didn't think I'd get back. I can't wait to see where I go from here!

Thank you for blending two of my loves; yoga and emo music! The class was great, the playlist on point, your voice was calming and encouraging and I’m so glad I made time for me.
